Enigmatec Ltd are specialists in complex FPGA design and verification and high speed digital electronic technologies. Our core expertise lies in the VHDL language and we have successfully produced a number of complex designs for various markets including communications and defence. With a keen interest in verification techniques and experience of requirements driven verification with a view to DO254.

FPGA DESIGN
Utilising the latest technologies from Xilinx and Altera, we can produce complex FPGA designs for a number of applications. We have experience of a number of computer networking technologies including various versions of Ethernet, Packet over SONET and ATM, as well as experience of digital video systems (SMPTE 292, hd-sdi, sd-sdi and ITU656), PCI, DDR memory technologies and Rocket IO, as well as older legacy technologies such as VME.. We also have experience in airborne RADAR receiver systems. We also have experience of implementing digital FIR filters within FPGAs
We have a wealth of experience in producing complex, self checking test benches based on proving requirements. We have experience of providing test benches designed to be used in a DO254 design process. Our main methodology utilises VHDL for test benching, however we are currently expanding into system verilog and UVM methodologies.
We can also provide high speed digital design services for hardware. We have experience of designing high speed systems for a range of applications including Airborne RADAR systems, Digital video systems, Ethernet analysers, disk drive servo writers and other digital systems targeted at the radar, sonar and communications markets. We have experience of technologies including 10G/1G/100M/10M Ethernet, DDRII memories (SRAM and SDRAM), ADC, DAC, ROCKETIO, PCI, VME, DVI, Hotlink.
